Oooh!!!! My nerves are tingling..I can’t stay at a place.. I can feel the energy bustling inside me..The excitement shining out of my eyes..Feeling so wide awake!!!!

HP7 – Part 1 is releasing tomorrow!!! 🙂 Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows! Just the mention of the title makes me want to read the book all over again.

A gist of the storyline:

Following the death of Harry’ mentor – Albus Dumbledore (who I really thought was not actually dead and would return magically), Harry drops out of school on the mission to find and destroy all the Horcruxes so that Voldemort can never return. Ron and Hermione is against Harry taking up this quest all alone and they too drop out of school to assist Harry and all three of them vanish without informing anyone of their family and friends.

Voldemort who has now come into full power has taken over the Ministry of Magic.

Without the help of Dumbledore, the only clue they have about the Horcruxes is the possibility that two of them are objects that belonged to Hogwarts founders Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff, and that the third is Nagini, Voldemort’s snake. As their hunt draws them into various traps they also learn more about Dumbledore’ past and Snape’ motives. The trio comes across a strange symbol which Luna Lovegood’s dad explains to represent the mythical Deathly Hallows which is revealed to consist of 3 sacred objects. Harry Potter is already in possession of one when he comes to know that Voldemort is already searching for the 2nd object. However, Potter also realizes that The Dark Lord is oblivious of the Deathly Hallows and its significance.

After a couple of surprising twists in the story, we reach the final stand. The battle of the Hogwarts. Many are killed and very late does Harry realize that Harry himself was inadvertently made a Horcrux when as a child, he was attacked by Voldemort! He sacrifices himself so that the final Horcrux would be destroyed. But he only reaches a limbo state (between life and death) where Dumbledore explains many unsolved mysteries to him.

In the end, Harry Potter returns to life and the battle continues with Potter defeating the Dark Lord.

The book ends with these final words: “The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.”

What a dilemma.. I want to watch the movie and yet I don’t want it to release! It is a feeling of high level euphoria and an aching pull of the heart together… HP7 being the final part of the Harry Potter series, we are not going to have anymore HP’ once Part 1 and Part 2 of the Deathly Hallows are released. The thought is depressing. But, I can;t wait to watch the 1st part as soon as it is released!!!!
